What are the benefits of goat milk products?

Goat milk products contain natural vitamins and minerals such as vitamin A, B6, B12, C, D, and E. Products containing these vitamins help maintain healthy skin and may aid in the treatment of acne, eczema, and psoriasis. What is your production process?

Once kids are weaned from the nannies the milking process begins. Karen hand-milks her goats to ensure the milk is yellow and creamy as it should be. After milk is collected, it is pasteurized using a Home Health brand milk pasteurizer for 45 minutes per gallon to remove harmful bacteria. Next, the milk is either cooled and used in products immediately or frozen for future use. Outlined below are the processes used for each product:

-Bar Soap: Ingredients are combined and poured into a mold to sit for 24 hours. Then the soap is cut into bars and is laid into a rack for 4-6 weeks.

-Lip Balm, Lotion, and Lotion Bars: Ingredients are combined and either poured into a mold to sit (for bars and lip balm) or bottled (for regular lotion).

-Body Wash: Uses the same process as the bar soap, but distilled water and glycerin are added to make it a liquid form.
